Lake-site living

200 ha large Lake Waldschach is situated at the door to the wine-growing region of Southern Styria, on the bottom of mount Demmerkogel and only about 30 minutes from the city of Graz. Compared with the size of its surface, the lake is not very deep. Therefore, the mediterranian climate makes it one of the warmest bathing lakes in Central Europe. Thanks to the good wind conditions, it is also an excellent resort for sailing and surfing.

If you´d like to spend your summers on the shores of lake Waldschach and enjoy all the recreational activities connected to it, you may rent one of our building sites for an unlimited period of time. They are available in different sizes, and all have their own private beach.

Waldschach Fish Hatchery, which is the owner of the lake, co-operates with various manufacturers of prefabricated houses and may offer you houses of various sizes and individual designs (a model house is available on-site for visitors to look at).
